In case it wasn't obvious, Kai rolled out of the way to narrowly evade his picture being taken.

I feel like ranting. I haven't done that in awhile.

A pet peeve of mine are names that make little sense.

There's the common one that makes no sense, with Richard somehow shortening into Dick. Rick, I can see. But Dick?

Next, is the name Stephen. Last time I checked, "ph" makes an f sound. When I read that name, I pronounce it as Stefan. (In fact, that's how Stephanie's father's name is pronounced), NOT Steven! It makes no sense!

And then there's one of my bosses last name. His last name is Nagy. Yet, SOMEHOW, it's pronounced Nudge. Yes, you read right, Nudge. *flails arms* Someone explain how these names make sense! I'd love to know!

Stephen probably bugs me the most though, since it's the most common. I think it should be removed from the English language, so we can just have Steven and Stefan, names that we know FOR SURE how it's supposed to be pronounced.

Anyways, that's enough ranting for now. Until next time.

afk playing soul calibur. responses are slow. drawing is slow. everything falls before the might of soul calibur.

i am awesome online. too bad about the lag though. and lamers online. if you suck, and when you fluke a win and take it as an opportunity to desecrate the opponent's corpse, then you have no right to be online.

That "Nudge" one definitely throws me for a loop. O_o

but I do like Stephen being pronounced steh-fen. Yeah... Steven? Oi vey.... TT_TT

I once went to camp with a girl named Jessica who spelled it Jezka. ... I'm sorry, but you're missin' a vowel there...

And just for fun, I once knew this family whose last name was Oodumfunkle. 8D Granted they were foreign, but still...
